• Flow Tests have been done on Air Packs
• Ladder Testing – Tentative July 11^th
• PM’s continuing. 5-1 is out now
• Problems with valve stems on 5-2-5
• Turn Out gear – will not be in until the end of August

• First floor urinal was leaking. Dunnigan came out to repair

CORY SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

• Imminent Hazard issued; Enterprise 1245 St. Georges Ave. failure to maintain a working fire alarm system after 18 day reinspection.
• 5-3-7 passed on – line training – Retrofit 2 sessions
• Knox Key status (note – Board and Bureau agreed to limit keys to as minimal as possible in 2014 after 2013 Chief lost key and we hired more inspectors and keys were removed to give them.
• 5-3-7 out of town on vacation 7/13 – 7/20
• 5-3-8 out of town on vacation 7/21 – 7/24

• Fire Calls for May
• Elizabeth Town Gas Drill was given. Some members attended
• Boat Drill @ Oros Park. A few concerns.
• Working on getting Prieto and Galvez enrolled in FF1. Middletown Fire Academy might have openings for July 1 – Nov. 3.
• Colonia dual response – had some questions about how they are getting dispatched
• Have some concerns over the wording on Avenel FD Facebook page

 

FIREFIGHTER, MATT MIZAK

• Addressed the Facebook concerns
• Comm. Mitch said all FB posts will be temporarily suspended until Comm. Addie can address the issue
