• There was an issue in 5-1 with the tablet. Wireless Communication came out
• Looking to get another docking station in 5-2  

 

BRUCE MIZAK, 2^ND VICE PRESIDENT

• 5-2-5 Valve has been ordered
• Pump and Hose Test coming up in November
• Downsizing our fleet. Would like to sell 5-3 as it is rarely used.

SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL (Excused) Report read by Comm. Manente

• Fire Prevention Week and open House went well. Visited each classroom one by one for a Fire Safety Talk.
• Will be using some more of my itemized line item to purchase low stocked supplies once October bills are processed and I can see what I have left.
• I will submit bills to WTJBOFC for their annual Reimbursement of Fire Prevention Monies.
• Received $1,309.00 Fire Zone Reimbursement – Township of Woodbridge
• Will be attending the League of Municipalities 11/15 -011/18
• Queens Gardens Firewatch completed. In hands of the Township and Property owner. Awaiting reimbursement.
• Several on – line classes taken and scheduled for CEU’s
• Christmas Tree will be put up on Nov. 8, being lit on Nov. 28^th

AYMAN ELBAYAR, FIRE CHIEF 2021

• Calls for Sept. and October.
• 4 recalls between 9/24-10/28
• Gas Meter is expired in Chief’s car
• Thermal Image Camera
• Flag for 5-2-5 approximate cost $625.00
• Second Live Burn 10/13 and Second Extrication Drill 10/27
• Received a Proclamation for the Woodbine Ave. Fire
• Probationary Firefighter – gear is too big
• Received James Karlbon resignation letter October 31, 2021
• Some of the Gear on the racks are outdated
• CPR refresher course
• Thanked the Board for the shirts
• Nov. 17^th drill will be cancelled
• Nov. 2^nd Pump Test
• Nov. 11^th Hose Test

 

FIREFIGHTER, MATT MIZAK

• Port Reading and Woodbridge dropped gear off to be washed. Our washed destroyed one set of Port Reading’s gear. Need to replace the liner.
• Look into getting heated drying racks to dry the gear. Comm. Addie will get information about a walk-in dryer.
• Older gear can be sent out to get re certified and inspected.

 

DAVID EIDSON, BUSINESS ADMINISTATOR

• Camera’s have been adjusted on the building
