•  5-1 deck gun and master intake valve repaired

• 5-4 issue with air brakes and mirror head replaced
• Going to Woodbridge Village for 2^ndhalf of water rescue training
• Danny mentioned looking into battery powered rescue tools, Spreader would cost about $ 9000.00  and a Cutter would cost about $8200.00

CORY SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

• Received NFI Recertification Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator; through April 2024
• Received my Fire Official Recertification through 10/31/2021
• 5-3-7 will be attending two tested training, 8/8 – 8/9 at MFCA; meeting the requirements of NFPA 1033
• Update on IFC 2015 Edition Code. In effect, still no program
• New construction update:
• 1500 Randolph Ave
• Quick Check – Rt 1
• Station Village
• Cedar Meadows – Rahway Ave.
• 1040 Rt.1
• Juvenile Fire Setter Update – Chris no new cases and summer meetings are off
• Map books/Hydrants – will look to do an update after MWC is done relocating hydrants
• Pre – plans program is working perfect since the intel upgrade on apparatus tablets

 

 

 

ASST CHIEF DANNY MIZAK –

• Went on National Volunteer website. Set up account

 

 

MATT MIZAK -

• Called for approval for Engine to go over to the PACE program
• Firehouse Expo confirming 2 people to register for classes
• Facebook update – positive comments thanking the AFD
• Woodbridge guys are doing very well and helping out a lot

 

 

 

MIKE HAMILTON, FIRE CHIEF 2018

• June fire calls
• Mike will bring log book and miniters up to Comm. Addie
• 2 motor vehicle accidents same location one of them we needed to call for Mutual Aid
• Work crew hours have started at 6AM
