  • We can go up to $6600.00 if we use the QPA
  • Keys system upgrade price of $5000.00, and we will go through the QPA
  • November 28, 2020 Small Business Saturday. Putting together a light parade. Details to follow. Would like 2 vehicles from each firehouse for a motorcade that would be driving through town.

  • Chris Neroda had radio issues and took one of the extra
  • Career guys would like a fourth headset jack in the engines.
  • Dave checked some things out with LOSAP all have been resolved
  • Running low on radios, so if there are issues with radios we may run low. May need to order more radios next year if no upgrades are being done.

 

 

BRUCE MIZAK, 2NDVICE PRESIDENT

 

  • 5-4 at Absolute for PM’s, and problem with transducer. Motherboard had to be replaced in night scan
  • 5-3 front suction leak, took it apart and found rocks inside

  • 5-2-5 at Absolute it was leaking oil. Battery charger started to heat up and make noise
  • Pick – up now has the tools from 5-4 in it
  • Cory had flat tire for the third time. Needs new tire. Window popped off the track on the side that had been repaired
  • 5-3-6 brakes had to be replaced
  • 5-3-8 Durango stripped and ready to go. Has been advertised. No bids received.
  • Gas meter issues – NJ Fire doesn’t sell these anymore
  • Thermal Imaging cameras – Batteries were not charging

  • Received $624.00 Fire Zone reimbursement March/April 2020
  • Received $590.00 from vacant structure permits. New permit that was placed into code to ensure vacant structures are maintained.

AYMAN ELBAYAR, FIRE CHIEF 2020

 

  • May fire calls
  • Port Reading is offering Incident Commander. Have one guy going.
  • Drill for July cancelled, cannot get use of the pool. Will hold off on Drills until September. Comm. Manente said Fire Academy is opening up and can do live burn drills
  • Had 11 details last month. Nine birthday and two graduation. They are going well
  • Members have asked to use gym equipment. (Commissioners have said no more than 2 people at a time and all equipment must be wiped down before and after use.
  • Driver training for Kim Bolhauer went well, would like him to move on. Tomaschevicz said he will do driver training, but Chief will hold off for now.
  • Computer update progress – things are progressing
  • Hiring of more members

 

 

DAVID EIDSON, BUSINESS ADMINISTATOR

  • Received uniforms that were on backorder
  • Looking for 2 missing titles for vehicles
  • Upcoming training – On scene incident commander, Pump Operations, Firefighter II
  • Personnel
  • Computer upgrades are going well, a few software glitches. Phase 3 is set to begin.
  • Personnel Files are up to standards and being entered into the DMS.
  • Work uniforms have been distributed
  • American Lawn & Sprinkler dropped off an invoice. They will come back with an extra person to start the job
