·          5-1 accident damage has been repaired.

·          5-4 has a few minor issues.

·         .5-2-5 will be getting a generator installed.

·         Fire Prevention vehicles had dash cams installed.

·         Boat has been repaired and is back in the Firehouse

·         5-3-1 has been detailed.

·         F.F. Moreno’s gear has come in.

·         Dumford has given us quotes to repair ice machine.

·         Refrigerator in the basement no longer works

·         Fire Inspection at the Firehouse and 105 Avenel St. has been done

·         Airtec was out to fix the heater on the apparatus floor and to fix HVAC in the hall

·         5-1 door needs to be repaired. Received quote of $4400.00

SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

·         Attended zoom meeting today with Division of Fire Safety – adding and certifying the President of BOFC as BA for end of year report in new system.

·         End of year report for Division is being worked on and will send to the state in the beginning of January.

·         All 2023 Life hazard and Non – Life Hazard use inspections are completed.

·         Received $675.50 in overtime reimbursement.

·         Received $15,000 in 2023 penalties.

·          F.F. Rosato still completing drivers training on 5-1

·         F.F. Finley is still completing drivers training on 5-2-5 with Capt. Mizak

·         Would like to wish the Board a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

·         Would like to thank everyone for the privilege of serving as Chief this past year.

·         Fire Prevention Week and Open House was a huge success. Thanks to Chris and Tommy, the career division and volunteers for a job well done.

·         I will submit bills to WTJBOFC for their annual reimbursement of Fire Prevention Money

·         Received $15,719.94 4th quarter LEA rebate.

·         Received $95,606.93 2023 LEA rebates,

·         Anticipated 2024 LEA rebate - $107,255,07 (should be more)

·         Received $3000.00 penalty T.J. Maxx. Failing to evacuate, silencing and resetting alarm system.

·         Received $500.00 penalty – Greens @Avenel. Continuing nature violations.

·         Signed criminal complaint against Slider Up. Failure to pay. Offered deal.

·         Will be attending the League of Municipalities conference 11/13-11/16.

·         5-3-8 attending 16 hour, investigating for arson profit 11/-11/10.

·         Several online classes taken and scheduled for CEU’s .

·         Holiday Overtine will begin November and commence through 1/6-1/7.

·         The truck will go for PM in September.

·         5-4 needed new turbo.

·         5-1 still needs ladder racks.

·         The van had a problem with a grounding issue with the fuel pump.

·         Lighting package was installed in the new Bureau vehicles.

·         The Vaughn Collaborative Group submitted a estimate for the new bunk room.

·         Had Airtec come out to address a problem with the HVAC. Had to replace a breaker.

SPILLAR, FIRE OFFICIAL

·         Imminent Hazard at Xperience – 505 Avenel St. Off – hour reinspection. Overtime reimbursed.

·         Imminent Hazard at Cubesmart – 881 St. Georges Ave. Unable to silence system. Off hour reinspection overtime reimbursed.

·         Received $3500 penalty from Advance Auto Parts – failure to abate violations in a timely manner.

·         Chris attended and passed 8 hours of tested training.

·         Tommy passed both County and State tests, will await State certification.

·         Fire Prevention supplies have been ordered and arrived for FPW.
